The study aimed to analyze the media coverage of the Iraqi government formation crisis following the 2025 elections, specifically within the UTV program "Al-Haq Yuqal" (The Truth Must Be Said). It focused on identifying key issues and central figures, as well as determining the nature of the media messages conveyed to the audience. Furthermore, the study sought to examine the methods used to interpret the crisis and to present related solutions and perspectives, employing a descriptive approach based on a comprehensive census of the research sample. The results indicated that the program focused on developments regarding the political consensus on selecting the Prime Minister, while highlighting disagreements among various political forces. It also addressed the role of influential blocs and alliances within the Coordination Framework, as well as the impact of the partisan quota system on the distribution of government positions. Furthermore, the findings showed the program's attention to financial and oversight issues, including final accounts and missing funds. The study concluded that the program’s media coverage focused on interpreting the unfolding political crisis and presenting diverse perspectives on the matter.
